Today we’re testing possibly be the best gold farm for transmog in World of Warcraft – the Level 58 trick.
Step 1:
Level a toon to 58. Easiest way to do this is with a Death Knight, since they start at 55, but that option isn’t available to everyone. Any toon works.
Step 2:
Stop XP gain by talking to the stealthed NPC in your faction’s capital city.
Step 3:
Go out to the Twilight Basecamp in Silithus and run around in a circle killing Twilight Cultists.
Explanation:
Similar to the AQ20 infinite farm, the whole goal of this farm is to kill as many level 58 mobs as you can. There’s no way to farm open world enemies for the super rare transmog since they were removed when deathwing came blazing through. However, since the cultists were recently changed to scale with your character level, we can make them level 58 if we stop XP at that point. The ilvl 70 starter gear for DKs is actually really amazing at 58.
Since this is a force spawn spot, the more people you can bring, the better (it’s still super profitable solo, just not mind-blowingly amazing). So use the group finder while this is popular and group up with anyone out there farming with you. Competition is your friend. Make a game out of it.
