Aegwynn sees the Dark Portal and the Orcs and realises there’s only one person on Azeroth powerful enough to have made this happen. So she confronts her son and everything works out great. Also Garona meets Medivh and it’s possible something might happen there and then get retconned.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is the upcoming seventh expansion set in the massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, following Legion. It was announced at BlizzCon 2017 on November 3, 2017.
The expansion will raise the level cap from 110 to 120, introduce the Kul Tiras and Zandalar continents, add dungeons and raids, add warfronts, add uncharted islands, and introduce three allied races for each the Alliance and the Horde.
